Our Services Explained
The processes followed at HWR are very thorough and involve all or most of the following:
Job order: Ideally we prefer to receive the job order face to face with the client in order to understand the requirement and get a feel for the workplace and the organisation.
Understanding client and their competitors: We will do a lot of research around the role before commencing with our search.
Job description: We are happy to draw up our own job specs if necessary or add to the one which the client has drawn up.
Candidate Search: Depending on the nature of the job we will utilise various search methods including: internal database search, searching for candidates via job portals, utilisation of social media, response handling from advertised jobs or head-hunting candidates who may not currently be in the job market.
Competency based interviews: These are conducted by ourselves preferably face to face and interview notes on the candidate accompany each CV submission to the client.
In house Assessments: We are able to conduct a small selection of in-house assessments on behalf of our clients at our own cost. We can also offer the HBDI assessment (a highly validated diagnostic survey which indicates a candidate’s thinking style preferences) which is used as a placement tool for clients at a small additional cost.
Interview preparations: We take care in assisting applicants with interview preparation and setting up interviews and assessments with the client.
Background checks: We offer pre-employment checks on the shortlisted candidates including ID, fraud, criminal, credit and academic at our own cost.
References: We ensure thorough verbal references and include specific probing questions at the client’s request. These references are verified.
Placement: We assist the client in the offer-making process by interpreting the offer and the remuneration and articulating the terms of the contract to the applicant.
